The sisters of Delta Phi Lambda feel extremely privileged to be enriched with our close-knit sisterhood. We seek to reach out to young women so that they can be welcomed into our family and enjoy the benefits of our organization. Motivated and ambitious, we strive to promote every conviction of Delta Phi Lambda. Thus, we aspire to reach out to female college students to enrich their lives, and by doing so, enriching ours.

Our purpose includes promoting multiculturalism with an emphasis on Asian awareness, reaching out to the community as a whole, and embracing fellow collegiate women into a nurturing environment.

As an Asian-interest sorority, the Sisters understand how difficult it is to be a part of the minority population. By uniting with other cultures, everyone takes part in overcoming adversity. Also, uniting with students with different nationalities provides the Sisters of Delta Phi Lambda an opportunity to learn about other cultures, appreciate our differences, and share our similarities. We will take initiative to assist any minority organization or community that is interested in promoting multiculturalism and bridging the gap between all minority groups.

Not only do we strive for unity in our communities, we also participate in several philanthropic events that concentrate on helping women and children. Serving our community is our passion. We must not forget how fortunate we are to be able to give to the community and we must not forget how to give.

We hope to expand our Sisterhood on a larger scale to create a support system of sisterhood across the United States. By doing so, Sisters would be able to find other Sisters no matter where their plans may take them. Moreover, having additional chapters nationally will help Sisters better adjust to their new environment should their plans take them to greater things in life.

Finally, we hope to develop well-rounded individuals by both nurturing our natural talents, as well as by helping each other strengthen our weakness. By accomplishing these two tasks, we feel that our members are better prepared to walk into the real world with confidence.

Delta Phi Lambda provides a once in a lifetime experience that exhibits our unique sisterhood, community involvement, preparedness for the real world, and tremendous leadership.
